Today was the day…
I swam in my swimming costume, as apposed to my spring suit. Back in this…
I was looking for the last time I was in it and it was in April, almost exactly 4 months ago. I am surprised it’s been warm enough. The water was cool in places but warmer in others. I swam for 40 minutes this morning. Summer is on the way. It was weird swimming with bare arms again.
The tide was far, far out, so much so that Mike came with me to the barrel and he was still in depth about 10m away from it. I could dive down easily to the ocean floor while at the barrel. A big, beautiful full moon tonight. The tides are always super high and super low at full moon.
Today the water department came out and finally found the burst water main and fixed it. They had dug a massive trench which they set about filling….
After watching for a bit, Mike and I walked to the start of Echo and enjoyed the beautiful view from the garden on Highway Rd.
It’s been a beautiful day. I’m so sorry I won’t be able to swim tomorrow morning, but I have a 9am appointment.
