Due to the tight deadline to get the cement poured for the basement on Tuesday, to our surprise, the workers arrived at the site today so get the rib and blocks put in place. When Mike and I walked to Echo this afternoon, this is how far they had come…

This week is going to be busy, as I help Mike with the conduits and try to fit in work. It’s only really tomorrow that will be more of a balance. Tuesday I’ll try get to the site in time to see the cement being poured. We’ll have to try not to get in the way.
Today we went to church, shopped, had lunch with David and then had an afternoon sleep! When we woke up we walked to Echo and back. It’s a round trip of 10km and my feet were complaining on our return.
