Wednesday
Dear Elsie
Today was the day I worked for another 10 hours. The hard work is only this week. Next week, it will be back to normal.
We did get to walk to the shops for a few supplies. There was also a conference on the back plot. That’s the rock in the background.
Close up of the rock.
Tomorrow, I think, they will start of the process of trying to break it up. We’ll see how that goes. Mike pretending to work with Courage!
View from the back plot. An overcast day with a yacht drifting by.
Another cool day. I think it will be warmer tomorrow.
I’ve been reading through Numbers – actually, I’m listening to Max McClean reading it. Today I got up to the section where the Israelites are fed up with manna and they start wailing about it. Sometimes I’ve said, ‘I would wail if wailing would work,’ but it doesn’t. There is something going down at our house which I’ll write about in the future. If wailing would work, I would wail, but there’s nothing to be done, but to trust the Lord and pray. He knows.
Psalm 67:1 May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face shine on us—
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
