The big vibrations are beginning to shake and rattle the house. Today Mike and I took a walk behind our home to have a look at the guilty party…it’s a vibrating compactor that shudders the surrounding houses…
It does mean the road is coming on. In fact in places the base course is being put on…
When it’s finished it’s going to be so wide…
It was good to go for a walk. All is quiet behind our house. I told Mike this morning, I am beginning to relax at home again. When he is out and I am home alone, I’m not so nervous. Our security is good and I am beginning to feel safe again.
#649 of my 1000 thanks is for just that – I am beginning to feel safe again.
I worked for just over five hours today.
I also went to gym. I am being told I’m addicted, but I do try to get my one hour exercise done. It can be very time-consuming, so I’m making it as efficient as possible. One hour. Today it was 31 minutes on the treadmill, spent walking two minutes, running two minutes. At the end of 30 minutes, I walked for a minute. Then I did the circuit – 10 machines and in between each I did the stepper. Turned out I did the stepper for 15 minutes altogether and the machines for 10. I did a couple of others and ended with this one…my favourite right now. Challenging but fun…I can pull myself up 8 times, twice, but it’s hard work.
64 minutes and I was off home.
It all adds up to something. I’m getting fitter.
Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
The Bible is full of this encouragement.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
