The Obama Brigade…

3-48pm

This afternoon around 1-30pm, I decided to go into Cape Town to see Granny. As I left to go over Ou Kaapse Weg, I noticed a number of police cars around. When I got to the Westlake side of the pass, there were even more. I got onto the M3 and when I got to the Constantia turn off, I could see them coming. No sirens… just lots of police cars, motor bikes and blacked out cars.  On the right side of the highway, there was an indentation in the road, so I pulled into it, opened my window, grabbed my cell phone and pressed record….

50 vehicles for the Obama Family! I figured you’d need about 20, say 4 police vehicles ahead, 2 security after that, then the Presidential cars, 2 security vehicles behind that, followed by 4 more police vehicles and few for the administration and  press core cars. 20 would be more than enough, but clearly I don’t know what it takes to move the President around the world. I wondered which ones carried Barrack, Michelle and their two girls… maybe  these…

LimosThey look as if they could be the right kind of limousines!  I figured that’s the closest I’ll ever get to the president of the United States!

1 Timothy 2:1-2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

I had a happy time with Granny. I took in her CD player and played some old tunes from the Gaither band! The ladies all enjoyed that!

And that’s it for today! The weekend is nearly over. A new week begins! Yeah! I’m looking forward to it!

God bless you loads!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
