The Day That Goes Down In South African History For….

Yes, so the final day of March 2017 will go down in South African history as the day the country woke up to economic carnage. The South African rand fell by 7.5% against the $US. The reason?  President Jacob Zuma initiated a massive government reshuffle where the biggest casualty for parliament and the health of the country, was the SA Minister of Finance Pravin Gordhan who was summarily fired in favour of a completely unknown, unqualified successor. The news was laden with headlines…

South Africa (AND the world)  in turmoil for sure, with my friend Lisa writing a piece for her Facebook page that I could not have been said any better…

Political carnage is nothing new. Power struggles have been around since time immemorial.

How we deal with them is what makes a difference to our lives.

It’s not always easy but it’s worth it. God is in control.
