Today Stacey and Adrian arrived. It was wonderful to see them and great to see Stacey looking so well with her little baby bump. She’s beginning to feel more movement and is enjoying being pregnant.
We all spent some time together in the morning and I began preparation for this evening’s dinner. I got everything in order and then went to gym. Stacey and Jess built the second of the two ginger bread houses that I had bought. The first we made for Stacey’s birthday and was a real experiment…
Today’s was far more impressive. Jess was quite the expert with the icing…she has a steady hand and able to squiggle evenly and neatly, something I struggled with on the first one!
We had a wonderful dinner and then watched You Tube videos of various crazy things. I also pulled up this which is quite entertaining…
#517 of my 1000 thanks is that my fridge is groaning. I am privileged.
And so tomorrow is Christmas 2017. There is much be thankful for.
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Happy Christmas!
These are the days!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
