….she is so unselfish. When we told her we were going away for next weekend, she said, ‘that’s good!’ Then Mike told her there would be no one to look after her at home, to which she replied, “I’ll find someone!!” We explained that she didn’t need to do that and that she was going to Nerina Gardens. She didn’t exactly look jubilant, but accepted what we had said without complaint. What I do need to do is to explain to her when we are going and show her on a calendar. Then she will have more time to get used to the idea.
Yesterday, after my blog, the day was so beautiful and windless, I loaded her into the wheelchair and we went walking…here she is looking quite ready for a safari with David’s hat…
Those hands have worked very hard!
As far as today went, it was a full and busy show. By 10ish, I was at Bible study where two birthday’s were celebrated. Here we are (including Stacey) …
And this is Riana’s specialty…a magnificent carrot cake with (edible carrot) roses…
It was delicious.
The day was overcast and chilly…
Still off Facebook and today at Bible study I missed it for the first time. None of us like to feel we are missing out on something and when someone started talking about news they had seen (on FB), I felt a bit out of touch! 🙂
This evening we are out with friends which should be fun.
I’m hoping to get this link to Pierre before he goes home so he can post the link to the Rise and Shine page!
