Ten Hour Day

Thursday

It’s been a long day – I’ve worked ten hours and if I don’t get to this blog out soon, it won’t get done before midnight.

Work is really busy. We have a school from the Middle East coming in to interview teachers and I am having to coordinate the whole thing, so it’s a matter of finding teachers, getting them processed, putting them forward, arranging their time of interview and then being there on Sunday. All their CVs and references have to be printed in triplicate. There is so much to do. It’s all very wonderful having all this work, but it’s taking its toll!  Once Sunday is over, things will be slightly less hectic…I hope.

Julian arrived today and we went down to Echo to take a look at today’s work. Werner and Mike had a very long meeting this afternoon. He is current waiting for the engineer’s specs for the next floor. Meantime, it’s looking good…

We went to the Blue Water Cafe at Imhoff. I really enjoy their vegetarian lasagne.

The day has been productive and I am grateful. I just need to brush my teeth and do my Bible reading and I will be able to say I have sucked the marrow out of this day.

Romans 5:2

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

We are privileged because  we are heaven-bound.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
