So the next quote has arrived for my journey. For the surgeon and his assistant to do the jaw op will be R25000. Tomorrow I must get hold of the hospital and the anaethetist to get their estimate. Then I’ll send it all to the Medical Aid so I can get an idea of what we are in for. Even when I’ve got all these quotes, what I don’t have is a quote for the implant I will need for a missing tooth. At the moment the internet tells me that it will be about R8000. Expensive business this.
Today when I woke up, I still had a hacking cough. So another day where my exercise plan had to take a back seat. My throat is fine. This evening, the cough is less. Tomorrow, I am going back to gym regardless!
I put in a solid day’s work and even managed tea with friends.
This evening David came for dinner. Ah, he’s a nice lad!
While last week there was a heat wave, this week it has been considerably cooler in Cape Town. Last night I was freezing cold and we ended up with an extra duvet and two blankets on top of our regular winter duvet. This evening it is slightly warmer.
#938 of my 1000 thanks is that James is coming to cut the lawn tomorrow. 1. The lawn will be shorn and 2. Mike won’t have to do it!
The end of the month has come. Last day of October. We are going into the last two months of 2018. Yay for November.
Luke 10:19
“Behold I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt you.”
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
