Super Rest

Friday

Dear Elsie

Today was the day I had a super rest. There was only a couple of things I did. We went to the beach where, for the first time this week, the shark net was deployed so I was able to swim to the barrel and back a couple of times. The tide was coming in and the wind was fresh so swimming out was hard work but coming in was a breeze.

I think it may be the last swim until Tuesday. A strong south-easter is expected over the weekend.

I just love the holidays! Today I had nothing on my to-do list, so I had the opportunity to do some more puzzle. Coming along nicely…

The other thing I did today was clean Mike’s study. It gets super dusty with the window open & some of Raiku’s catches have been unceremoniously dumped on the carpet. Mike was out. Julian helped me take the carpet out and I gave it a bit of a clean. Raiku has not caught anything (that we have seen) over the last 2 days, so maybe he bit off more than he could chew last time.

Mike groomed the cats. Trying to get the extra fur off them.

David has had a couple of good days. We take one day at a time. He is doing a lot of resting and that helps.

Isaiah 54:10
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx
