My happiness cup overflows. Last night Stacey and Adrian arrived home, after a month away. This morning we went out for breakfast with them and then after Mike & Adrian had gone off to get some work done, Stace and I shopped! Such a good thing for mom and daughter to do…even if it is grocery shopping.
After we had unpacked, Stace came over for tea and to see the cross-stitch…she remembered Granny had a embroidery ring, which she found in the cottage and so she bought that over as well…
Mike is doing some electrics today, so got Stace involved as well. Mike fed the wiring through the ceiling…
Ha ha – “watch out for your shoelace Mike! ” And Stacey received it at the other end…
It’s such a beautiful day in Cape Town today. There’s not too much wind and the temperature is mild – maybe early 20s C. Our grapevine is lapping up the warmth and the fruit is ripening nicely…
This morning, in my Bible reading, I read the familiar words of Proverbs 3. Verses 5 & 6 are well know. The two verses that come before them are significant and good to remember. Proverbs 3:3&4
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
