Sorting Security

It is an amazing thing when something is weighing on your mind and heart and you open the Bible to read and the verses are just so encouraging and appropriate. That was my experience yesterday and today.

Nehemiah 8:10

For the joy of the Lord is your strength

And today it was Psalm 34. It’s a wonderful Psalm. This is verse 1:

I will extol the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.

While it’s been tough this week, my thoughts lie mainly with Morgan and the sadness she is feeling. Apart from the loss of belongings, the violation is hard to shake off.

Today Mike worked hard to get the side wall raised. Tomorrow he should finish that. The alarm and new burglar bars are sorted, so things are moving along.

#389 of my 1000 thanks is for just that…things are moving along and we are feeling that we are at least doing something.

In the big scheme of things, this is very small, but it has been traumatic. Time will pass and things will feel better.

Here’s Mike digging a deep hole…

His cap is Srixon (golf gear). I think he would rather be playing golf!  He’s a keeper!

These are the days!

Keep the smile going!

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
