Something Has To Give…

Monday

Something has to give and it will be gym.

Today dawned bright and breezy. Before 8am, Mike went down to the building site to continue with the electrics. I stayed home and worked.  My plan was to work until 3pm and then go to gym. Mike came home for breakfast after 11:30am. I was on a Skype call. He stayed until about 1pm and then returned to the site. I had another appointment at 2pm. By 3:30pm, Mike wasn’t home yet, so instead of gym, I went to the site to run around after Mike, only he had nearly finished. I went out to buy some stuff for him, returned and dug and bit of a channel for the electric conduits. Five or ten minutes into that exercise, he asked me to help him duct tape up conduit joins. He was then done for the day, so my work out was less than sufficient. 🤷‍♀️ It is what it is. This is a busy season and if something has to give, it will be gym. But Mike appreciated me coming.

He spent the day doing this…

Meanwhile, one floor up on the ground floor level, the light steel frame is almost installed…

And the place is nearly plastered…

The windows come on Friday.

Shopped for dinner on the way home and now the day is done. I’ve just got a teensie weensie bit more work to do, so let me get on with it.

Luke 2:14

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His favour rests.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
