Something Different

This morning Mike and I woke up quite early, so we decided to get some exercise at the Beach. We haven’t done this for years. We went to Fish Hoek Beach, parked the car and headed towards Glencairn along the coast road. It was a slow jog/brisk walk.

When we got back to Fish Hoek, it wasn’t quite time to meet Julian for breakfast, so I did half a Grid worth of exercises on the beach. That was fun. Then we went to Chalk and Cheese for breakfast. I did a bit of work, went to Heidi’s for tea with friends and then worked for a couple of hours in the afternoon again.

Late this afternoon, we visited a house on Echo Rd that has just been built. We have seen it grow and the new owners are now in the process of moving in. The builder (Werner)  who has built it is the one we are planning to use  for our build. When we arrived, Werner was just leaving. He introduced us to the owners and then left. We chatted with them for a while. It was very useful. They fully endorsed Werner. We were pleased to hear that. Mike was not with Julian and I, so I got the owner’s number and Mike will call and go round to have a chat as well.

#903 of my 1000 thanks is that we got to speak to the owners of this house. It’s been something we have been thinking about – and today we did it. So grateful that they only had good things to say about Werner. Yay!

We had dinner at 136. Such a lovely view…

And so the weekend has arrived!

Psalm 90:10

Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass and we fly away.

Time certainly does fly by. Enjoy every day.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
