Shadecloth & Theatre

5-40pm

Today has been a lovely day. The day itself came with splendid weather. Boswell the gardener arrived. Mike took advantage of his help in pulling out some old shrubbery and putting up some shadecloth in our patio area, outside the backdoor. I was allocated the task of sewing a hem in the shadecloth in order to put a pole through it…the lounge (in front of the TV – cricket was on) became my work room…

Me sewing away…The needle close up…

Mike worked hard all day and finally finished. This is the patio from one side…

And from the otherside…

Now we need to work on getting plants for the flower bed against the wall. Here is the the tired worker…

I actually abandoned him this afternoon and went to the Masque Theatre with Stacey to see the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. On the way there we got stuck on Boyes Drive. A fire had broken out on the mountain and helicopters were dumping water on it. Fire engines and police cars forced the traffic to a stop. I ended up parking ON Boyes Drive and we walked down to Main Rd. to the Masque.

You may just be able to see the helicopter in this pic…

The play was fantastic! We enjoyed it!

We walked back up all those steps to get to the car and took this photo from the top…

The grapes are loving the sunny weather…

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

I hope you have a fabulous evening!

In His grip,

Helga 🙂
