For me the secret to enjoying everyday life lies in a solid foundation. Jesus spoke these words: “Seek first His (God’s) kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”. The Message paraphrases the verse like this: “Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met”. If you seek first God in all things in life, He directs your thinking, your path and ultimate the entire direction your life takes. That makes for a fulfilling life.
One of the things that I try to do is live life intentionally. It means pausing to admire the mountain or smile at the sunshine, embrace the breeze, breathe in the sea air. It makes the day so much sweeter to notice things around you. Of course, it’s always a treat to add in a lovely thing to do. Today I went to Blue Water cafe and met my friend Avril for lunch. It was so relaxing! And on the way in, we passed camels waiting for clients…

Then it was home, where Monty didn’t waste any time in joining me “on the inside”!….Aaah, this is what it’s like to sleep on a couch…
Ah, sweet!
Now I’m going outside to have tea with Granny, who is waiting patiently…
