Tuesday
Mike and I were up early and by 6am we were in the garage. Mike was busy loading the car with the prepared conduits. Courage arrived. At 6-20am we were on our way to the building site. It was a beautiful morning, with very little wind. Mike, Courage and David got to work…
David and Mike…
I did my bit – mainly working with David marking where the conduits had to go. We got there at about 6-30am and left at 10-30am. Four hours – done and dusted. Mike had done a lot of preparation beforehand, bending the pipes and measuring carefully so they would fit perfectly and they did!
All ready for concrete tomorrow.
The access is quite treacherous at the moment. After you climb 49 easy steps, the rest becomes a scramble…
This is looking down from the second level…
Meanwhile the basement has been cleaned. There are just two massive rocks that need to be maneuvered out…
We thought the electrics would take us much longer – like to 2pm or even the whole day so to have it done by 10-30am was amazing. Mike has worked really hard and now knows what is required for the next level up. That will only be needed in mid-January. It’s going to work well to have a bit of a break over Christmas and we can press re-start in January. Meantime, Courage is coming each day this week to do some painting a our house.
Psalm 75:1
We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks! For Your wondrous works declare that Your Name is near.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
