Friday
Dear Elsie
Today was the day I went to the beach at lunchtime. That was something different. I didn’t take my phone with me because I went alone, but these are the photos Fish Hoek Beach Facebook page posted.
There was quite a lot of swell, which made for a fun swim.
The net was in place so I focused on swimming along-side it, so I could see I was going in a straight line. When I strayed from the net, I ended up being pushed off course. This was a really enjoyable swim.
I’m not very fast, but at least I’m edging towards doing 2km.
This evening Mike felt as if he was coming down with something so David did not join us for dinner. Not wanting to expose himself to bugs, he chose to stay away. Hopefully Mike will be better tomorrow.
I have a puzzle problem. This Italian one with the bougainvillea is really difficult and I’m contemplating moving on! I think tomorrow I’ll try do some of the houses and if I make progress, I’ll keep going.
And so that’s the week done. I think I’ll call it an early night.
Psalms 27:5
For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
