Rocks, Rocks and more Rocks

Wednesday

Today unfolded as it usually does. Mike went to Echo to meet with the builder and the land surveyor so he could get some important measurements. There had been a discrepancy and Mike wasn’t sure if he would have enough height to put in a door to the basement. It seemed it was no longer going to be a basement, but rather a dingy basement! Turns out the original plans had placed the current cottage too high and that was where the mistake was. There’s plenty enough height for both a door and a regular ceiling height.

But there are rocks, rocks, and more rocks. There has been more excavation and the piles are exposed.

The piles close up…

Mike scrambling over the rocks…

More rocks…

The truck is coming tomorrow and a whole stack of the rocks and rubble will zoot on down the chute! This is roughly the height of the basement…

It’s like a massive big rocky puzzle that will slowly be sorted out and put together. One day we will look back at these photos and marvel at what God led us to do.

Today is Julian’s birthday! Happy birthday! I’m grateful for you.

Isaiah 65:24

I will answer them before they even call to Me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayer.

God listens.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
