It’s 106km from Caledon to Swelledam. One hour’s drive. Yesterday Stacey sent me a message to say that someone from her church had made the trip yesterday and there were FIVE sets of road works. This morning we left prepared. We encountered all five, hanging out for sometimes only 3 minutes, other times about ten. Just waiting….
And watching….
We arrived in Swellendam two hours later. But the journey was oh so worth it….Stacey and I. Stacey is almost seven months pregnant and looking so well. Pregnancy suits her. 😀
Mike went to play nine holes at Swellendam Golf Club. About an hour in, Stacey took me up to the course and I met up with him for the last few holes. He has joined the club as a country member. I think he foresees many trips to Swellendam!
