I’ve had a few comments about the bulletproof coffee and how I froth it. If you don’t froth it, it looks like black coffee…this was after I’d drunk half of it…
It’s still quite palatable, tasting like coffee! This is the frother I use. It cost R100 from Clicks, but the price may have gone up since I bought it.
Today, I was reminded that trials are temporary! Life has a way of seemingly cycling in circles. There is a saying, ‘what goes around comes around.’ I think of great heartbreak and tragedy that happens in the world. So much of it is hard to comprehend. “Why God?” you may ask. But we only see a fraction of the story. There is much more to come both here and especially after we die. We cling to things of this world because we know no other. But one day, as followers of Christ, when we breathe out last breath and cross the great divide, we will be amazed that we clung so vehemently to our temporary life. All that is happening in your life is for a season. It won’t last forever. If you are in pain, relief is ahead. Are you grieving? Joy will come. Are you anguished? There will be peace. Sit out the storm. Psalm 30 vs 5b “weeping may remain for a night but rejoicing comes in the morning.” Take heart – your joy is coming!
Today, I will be getting together with my friends to pray for the needs of friends and family and community members. No food at our meeting today. No DVD – we are gathering to pray.
