Today Julian flew back to Johannesburg for a few days and Adrian and Stacey drove back to Swellendam. Suddenly the house was very quiet. I went to gym swam 12 lengths. I’ve getting into the swing of it – now I just have to build up some stamina and swimming strength. I felt less like I was going to drown!
In the early evening, Mike and I took a walk behind our home where the road is being built to see if there was any signs of suspicious activity. There were a few footprints but not many and generally it was positive.
#520 of my 1000 thanks is that there was no sign of the crooks.
We walked on with Mike walking on the road that is being built….
While I walked below the embankment along the path. You can see how dry it is….
I also did a bit of work, but there was not much to do which is lovely. It was a restful day. We ate leftovers!
As I complete reading the Bible in a year, I’m up to Zechariah.
Zechariah 10:1
Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.
We are praying for rain for Cape Town.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
