I guess there are going to be people who wonder why the phone bill is good news! The reason is because I remembered to pay it today! You see, I’m quite tight-fisted when it comes to Telkom. I see the interest they charge me if I am a day late, but they are very quick to sit on the interest if I pay early, so I pay ON THE DAY! I usually remember the date it needs to be paid, but with me spending more time at work, it hasn’t been a top priority. I was so pleased when I spotted it in my work bag and pounced on it to check the date! Bingo….
I had a busy morning at the studio. Three more good things happened… some carpeting needs to be replaced – we have someone coming tomorrow to measure up and quote. Then my friend Wendy and her husband Robert came to see Cassiem, the prayer friend co-ordinator at CCFm. Tomorrow they begin prayer friend duties between 7 & 9am a few times a week. They are a great asset to the Rise and Shine team! 🙂 The third good thing is that the new sales reps have so far done very well this week!
I also managed to call 11 people/companies to thank them for their Share-a-thon donations last year. Times are tough. People have been so faithful and I really appreciate them. I pray God pours out abundance on their lives, financially, physically, emotionally, mentally and socially! I need to do more calling in the days ahead.
I left work just after 1pm and went and paid above phone bill. I did some shopping and then came home and had coffee, made in our aging coffee machine…one day it is going to need to be replaced. Still, in the meantime, it did quite a good cappuccino…although it sort of collapsed, so maybe a flat white is what it is…

Be joyful. Be prayerful. Be thankful! It’s God’s will for us!
