Today, we had to get the painting done….Mike sorted me out to paint the ceiling and the door and when all we’ve done is dry we’ll paint the walls.. Mike did most of the work…
Painting painting painting….
Later, we will (sadly) say goodbye to Stacey’s hand written height chart which has been there for at least a decade…
It’s easy to ponder on those days and smile at the memories and perhaps wish I’d done some things differently & appreciated more. But we can’t go back. Nope. Those days are over. What we did, we did. What we said, we said. How we lived is over. This is a new season and we control how we respond to today! In light of my past experience, my current circumstances and my future hopes and dreams…..
I will focus on today and enjoy it…paint-flecked face and all! 😀
Christmas is 2 weeks away. While we look forward to it, today is what counts. Today is a gift – that’s why it’s called the ‘present!’
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Keep the smile going!
God bless you!
In His Grip,
