4-16pm
I intended to this blog more than an hour ago. But, somehow, my eyes just drooped and it’s cold outside and warm in bed, so I just dozed off and it turned into a deep, more than an hour long sleep. I’ve shunned the idea of not sleeping on a Sunday afternoon so that I sleep well at night. Life’s too short to abandon a Sunday afternoon sleep. Besides, I’ve discovered that I can go to sleep about half an hour later than usual and that doesn’t seriously impact how I feel Monday morning! 🙂 The sleep was good! Now I need tea!
Yesterday, after I posted the 24 Tips for Husbands, I immediately started thinking about the 24 Tips for Wives and understand I need more help! My page only had 1. No prizes for guessing what one it was! 😉 So that call to husbands will go out this week and I’ll try and get it finished and on the blog next Saturday.
While it was warm and sunny yesterday, we took Granny walking… it was quite fun taking ‘shadow’ photos. They are so flattering…
Today, after church, I cleaned the kitchen and made tea, while Mike finished watching a TV programme he wanted to see. This was the toast for Mike for tea….
Sorry, I didn’t cut it in half….
…. I didn’t want to break his heart(s)! Now that I think about it, I should have put an H in one and an M in the other! That would have been cool. Next time! 🙂
Now I’m watching cricket and waiting for the rain to come. It should be here within the hour. Mike is still asleep. Granny is in her room and David is somewhere.
Stacey is probably winding down her weekend in Singapore and planning what to do tomorrow. Yesterday she went to Sentosa Island, which is the southern most point of Continental Asia. Quite cool that she’s now been to the southern tips of two continents. More than I! She posted this picture today of Vivocity Mall which she described as busy, huge and expensive…
I love that they are doing this. They are in Singapore for another week, then off to Malaysia. I missed them today because they always have Sunday lunch with us (and bring dessert)! We missed them more than the dessert!
We go into high gear this week as Share-a-thon begins a week tomorrow! See more details at www.ccfm.org.za. 🙂 We are calling on our partners to come and help us financially to haul in the fish…
Luke 5:7 –Â So they signalled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came…
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
