I called Mike up just after the show and said, “Hello my darling! How you doing?” “Fine,” he said. “Great! Do you want to go on a hot date with me tonight?” “I can’t, I have a meeting! What hot date?” “I have to go to the flat to scrub the ceiling to get rid of the mildew and thought we could make a date of it!” “Okay,” replies my beloved, “I’ll meet you there on my way home!”
So our ‘hot’ date is on!
So now I”ve got to move it because I have to cook dinner, so it’s ready on his return and then I’ve got to donate blood on my way to the flat!
This is in the oven…
Chicken schnitzel – it has another 10 minutes and not a minute longer!
Veggies are half cooked. Salad needs to be assembled. It would be nice to have these for dessert…
But, alas, IF there are any left, they are in the Walbrugh household, being very cleverly made by Nadine. Next time, Nadine, pack a few for the CCFm peeps! YuM! Her first chocolate eclairs. Quite spectacular! I’ve never made choc eclairs before!
So tomorrow, I’ll let you know how the flat ceiling cleaning goes. I think there may be more than one visit.
