YaY! We bumped into Stacey in the Mall today. “Stacey!” I said, ” I want to knit!” “No problem,” she replied, “I have just the thing! I can bring it around.”So she did. She got me knitting. I would say it was the student teaching the teacher, but my late Mom taught Stacey to knit and crochet. Granny taught her to sew. Shows where my strengths are. She got me going “on the round”.

After a while, she had a look at my work. “Wow, Mom, you’ve done well,” she said with what I saw as some surprise! “Ha ha! Why you so surprised?” I asked. “Not surprised,” said Stacey, “rather impressed!” #Gottalovedaughters!#  Mannnnnn!!! I’m going to miss her when she’s travelling.My work…

Before I forget, you WILL NOT believe what happened yesterday afternoon!! Last bit of my last blog was “I’m going to get 40 winks”. I was JUST dozing off when the doorbell went. “I AM NOT getting up,” I thought. “I won’t!” With that I heard a car door close. I shot out of bed and saw a DHL van! What? I ran downstairs and threw open the door. There was the DHL man about to get back in his car. He came up and handed over this…

The note enclosed of my old one said “5-10 days”. It actually came in 5-10 hours! 🙂  Great! I’ve got 10 years to use it!
