New Flat Tenants

Saturday

Today was the day…

Mike and I went for a walk to buy some yoghurt as we had run out and needed it for breakfast. We decided to go to the Glencairn Spar and left at about 7:45am. It was a slow walk there, looking at the mountainside houses from below.  We got to Glencairn, picked up a couple of things and headed home. It began to rain, so there was no dawdling. We put our foot down, literally and hot-footed it home as fast as our feet could carry us. We did get a little wet, but got a really good work-out in!

Breakfast, a quick chat with Stacey and Elsie and then it was time to go and show our new tenants around the flat.  They came to clean and measure and see what needed to be done. They were thrilled. The flat has two bedrooms – one about 20m2.  The other very small – about 12m2. Another 30m2 makes up the lounge and kitchen and then there is passage space and a bathroom. Altogether, it’s about 73m2. This family of four are coming from a bedroom where all of them slept in about 12m2. For them, the flat is very spacious. Apart from the two bedrooms, there’s also the built in balcony. Our new tenants…

Courage and his family!!

We left them cleaning and went to buy a couple of supplies for some repairs that need to be done. They move in at the end of the month & are so appreciative!

We had more shopping to do so eventually got home after 2pm.

It’s been a cloudy day. A quiet evening lies ahead.

Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord.

We absolutely let our hearts take Courage!

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
