Madiba Said To Be Unresponsive….

1-27pm

I was shocked to read this headline on an Australian news website.  This is what www.perthnow.com.au says, “NELSON Mandela is unresponsive and his immediate family is now discussing whether to withdraw treatment, it has been claimed.According to a new source, Mr Mandela’s liver and kidney functions are down to 50 per cent and he has not opened his eyes for days, the Daily Mail reports.”

Nelson Mandela unresponsive for daysIOL today, carries the face of Madiba, but in association with the fact that his ambulance broke down two weeks ago on the way to the hospital, highlighting the decline in the military health sector….IOL front pageThis morning, News 24 carried other stories…

News 24And Eyewitness News did the same…

Eyewitness news front pageI guess the hundreds of journalists that were camped outside the hospital Nelson Mandela is in, have gone home.

We will have to wait to see about the truth of this report because it was only on Thursday that Madiba’s grandson Ndaba Mandela, said his Grandfather was getting better by the day and he hoped he would be home soon.  Here’s the link to the whole story:

Nelson Mandela ‘unresponsive for days’: report

In that article, I also read Thabo Mbeki’s take on it…

Former President Thabo Mbeki, who succeeded Mandela as president in 1999, said he remained in close contact with doctors about Mandela’s condition.

“Mbeki said on local PowerFM radio that he is in contact with the family and medical staff of the man he succeeded in 1999.
“Naturally … I maintain very close contact with the family and the doctors about Nelson Mandela’s condition, and I think that we need to understand what has been said publicly by government, which is that Nelson Mandela is in fact improving in terms of his health. I don’t think that anybody should kind of entertain some wrong notion, that Nelson Mandela is going to die tomorrow, he is not going to.”

I hope he’s right.

Pray for Madiba and his family.

Psalm 139:16 “All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

God bless you loads!
