Myles Munroe

1pm

This morning when I woke up and went online, one of the first pieces of news I read was about the tragic, sudden death of Myles Munroe. He and his wife Ruth (and 7 others) were killed in a small plane crash. They leave behind a son and daughter, Myles Jnr and  Charisa Munroe. While there has been an outpouring of condolences on Twitter and Facebook, the main media seem strangely silent on the story. I could find no trace of it on CNN or BBC’s websites and on watching the same news channels, it wasn’t covered as a story. Perhaps, they are sending someone to the Bahamas and it will break on TV later.

Myles Monroe from TwitterMyles & his wife and team were travelling to Grand Bahama for the 2014 Global Leadership Forum, which starts today. On his ministry’s Facebook page, a note had been posted saying it will continue…

Myles was born and raised in the Bahamas and came to know the Lord at aged 13. I found this video of his testimony…

…which is worth the 7 minutes watching. He lived a full and abundant life. Through the books he wrote, you could see where his priorities lie. He wrote on leadership, marriage and worship.  He absolutely lived a life of purpose.

Apparently the plane hit a crane while coming into land at Grand Bahama airport. It happened at 5-10pm yesterday afternoon. Apparently there has been a lot of heavy rain in the region. A full investigation will begin today.

My prayer is that Myles Jnr and Charisa Munroe will  be able to see the truth that Joseph saw after he had been through an extended amount of tragedy and trauma in his life.

Genesis 50:20

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

We don’t know what is going on in the spiritual realm, after these  precious saints were taken up to heaven, but I do believe it is something spectacular. This life is not the end.

What we have this side of eternity is fragile. Hug your families a little closer. Love God, love people, live with no regrets.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gratitude Pic… I am grateful today for my marriage, 28 years, 3 months, 1 day of blessings with this man…
