Friday!
Today was the day…
That was busy from sun-up to sun-down and my brain is tired. The wind blew so no swimming was done. I got started with work quite early. At 10am, I went to say goodbye to the guests in the cottage. They had stayed on an extra couple of days and as soon as they left, I needed to do a quick turnaround. Mike and I got started at 11:30. The cottage was completely done by 2pm. A lovely family arrived at 5:30pm for the weekend. The kids are 10, 5 & 3. We have done the laundry so when they leave on Sunday, we can do the change over without delay! This is going to be the nature of December. Apart from 4 days, we are back to back bookings. Let’s hope Covid doesn’t put a stop to it.
What I did do while cleaning in the loft was to go into one of the cupboards under the eaves and find the Christmas tree and all the decorations. Rubbing hands together gleefully!
I worked for about 6 hours.
I did a lot of walking up and down the stairs clocking up a crazy 14105 steps so far today.
Dinner was had with David joining us.
And we watched the chess. Mike has got fully hooked on watching this game. They have been playing for 7 hours!
I think it may end in a draw but who knows!
Tomorrow is Stacey’s birthday so we are planning a little day trip!
Acts 15:11
We are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
