Mike’s Perspective

I was so glad my brother arrived from Johannesburg last night. After the long awaited afternoon of “Coachplan” being unveiled, Mike and I left around 6pm and went out for dinner. David did the airport run and so when we got home, Julian was about to arrive. There was no time for a ‘come down’…that ‘now what?’ kind of feeling. That was good.

Mike agreed that it went off well. There are a couple of tweaks needed and a few methods of working that need to be thought about and figured out if they can be accommodated, but otherwise all is well. Mike worked more on the system this morning.

Meantime, I have been working hard this week. I have been going through a deluge of CVs for teachers wanting to go and work in the Middle East. In fact, as of right now, Ive done 37 hours this week. There is so much to do and I don’t like getting behind, so I keep going until I feel I have caught up. What a blessing to have a job.

We are going out for dinner tonight to Saveur. It is a favourite of ours, although last time we made the mistake of going on a very busy Saturday evening with a reservation of 7pm. Don’t make that mistake. It was so busy, dinner took an hour to arrive. We were ravenous. But the food is good and the view fabulous so we will enjoy it. I’m looking forward for some downtime. Julian and I intend walking most of the way there. That will build an appetite!

The Psalm I read today

Psalm 128:1-2

“Blessed are all who fear the Lord; who walk in His ways. You will eat the fruit of your labour;”

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
