If you have stumbled upon this blog in search of Low Carb High Fat info, you’ve come to the right place! Look for the tab just beneath the picture at the top saying “All Things LCHF”. Hover over it and a drop down menu will appear.
I have a few minutes to get this blog up before going to church and then spending a day at home, relaxing with the family, braaiing and celebrating a little. It’s our last Sunday in Cape Town for several weeks and it’s a magnificent summer’s day. There are a few things yet to be sorted before we leave. We are packing for 31 days – for land and sea, for winter and summer, for mountain tops and equator crossing, for semi-formal and pool-side casual, so packing a wardrobe for all of this is an interesting exercise! We have decided not to take the large, wonderful 4 wheeler Jeep suitcases Valerie Gail loaned us but instead to travel “light” with large black fabric ‘duffel’ bags on wheels with a handle. Amazingly, I can fit all that is needed in mine!
This will be light enough to wheel up steep hills of tiny cities and to drag up narrow stairways of ancient Italian buildings. The handles are also able to become ‘backpack’ straps which is helpful.
And as I ponder what needs to be done, I smile to myself as it’s October 27th and that makes it perfect for Mark 10(for the month): 27 (for the day).
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
Jesus and His Word gives my life a firm foundation difficult to find anywhere else.
God bless & have a fabulous day!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
