Friday
I sort of had by day planned, but then Mike said he needed an extra pair of hands at the building site. One thing I can say is I am absolutely not manual labour fit. I’m fine for holding things and assisting with passing wires through conduit but chiseling? Nope.
It’s wrist-breaking work and after doing about 20 minutes of it, my right wrist and I had both had enough! I also did some shopping for things with strange names. This is one of them. Fish tape. If you are ever going to do any wiring, get this…
It makes feeding wiring through conduit a cinch!
Today, they put up the frame for the first wall…
And bricks started being laid…
Mike and I will go down a little later and complete some of the work he needs to do. I’ll take more photos then as the wall should have grown a bit.
I can’t believe we are doing this.
That’s been the day with a smidgen of paid work in between.
The weekend is here!
Psalm 138:8
The Lord will work out His plans for my life – for Your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
These are the days!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
