3-13pm
In three hours time, I head off to the beach with table, chairs and picnic basket and all the accessories to surprise Mike with a picnic dinner. I thought the table was collapsible but soon discovered that it doesn’t. And neither do the chairs. But amazingly, I managed to squeeze them into my car…
This table and chairs actually usually lives in our bedroom. I have not yet decided what to say to Mike when he goes upstairs and says ‘what’s happened to the table and chairs?’ I think David’s suggestion of ‘don’t worry about it’ may be the right answer. 🙂
The picnic basket is packed…
Riana has driven past the beach and says the sea looks a bit choppy and she hopes the wind is not blowing too much for our little excursion. I think I may take a drive down there now and have a little look myself.
I think it’s going to be fine and fun! I have wanted to do this for just ever so long. Whether there is a little breeze or not, we will have a good time. AND, it will make for a fabulous photo! Check back tomorrow to see what happens!
Psalm 139:1-2 You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
I love this Psalm.
Have a spiffing weekend!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
