If you are going to live in a city as magnificent as Cape Town, you have to put up with some really hot summer days. Today is one of them. The temperature is only about 31, but as the picture shows the ‘real feel’ is 35!
I got home in time to see some epic tennis between Andy Murray and Roger Federer. Federer won and now meets Rafa Nadal in Friday’s semi-final. Should be good.
I had all the doors open to try and get a bit of a through breeze. On the way home I did some shopping and then while the tennis was on, I made lunch for Adrian and Stacey (we have an arrangement – Stace will cook for us tomorrow! :-)) Then I tidied up a bit and swept the patio. Later I’ll water the garden!
Whatever you do, look on the ‘view side’ of life. Riana sent me this picture that is so true. Every day you have choices. Choose to look for the good in life. Choose not to complain. Choose to lift your chin, look life squarely in the face and smile!
