Loft Almost Done

Tuesday

Today was the day…

The full force of work has hit. It’s going to be a month that I could easily work 10 hours a day if I don’t reign myself in. Coupled with ongoing Airbnb bookings, life is full!

Mike was a great help this morning, arranging for Courage to move the single bed into the loft ahead of guests coming on Thursday. It’s the first time the loft will be used as part of the Airbnb.

Such a lot of work has gone into this place. It’s finally nearing completion.

This morning, we swam. I tried out the speed training where I swam like the clappers for 30 strokes before swimming 15 strokes slowly. Repeat 2-3 times, then take a minutes break. It was exhausting! What I learned is that the first set shouldn’t be done too fast. I did the whole thing better towards the end of my swim. All the sprints made my 2km come faster. I did it in 43 minutes instead of 54. The sea was beautiful and flat and not too cold.

Hebrews 6:19

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
