Saturday
And we slept in. We finally got out of bed around 9:30am. Mike’s back is on the mend for which we are very grateful! The highlight of the day was this…a family Skype! We need to get a few others involved as well.
In the afternoon, I also video chatted with Stace and Elsie. She is so adorable and beginning to talk more and more. Good times.
It puts me in mind of some of the advantages of lock down:
- Making Skype memories.
- Resting more.
- Doing long forgotten chores that haven’t been done for years (mainly in the garden).
- Cooking more – proper wholesome food.
- Talking more.
Talking of cooking, I boiled up some chicken…
And turned half of it into a chicken potato pie…
The other half will be soup made with proper chicken stock.
That’s what I mean about cooking properly. There’s more time.
Today I ordered through Checkers online. Only issue is I’m not sure when it’s coming. 🤨 I prefer getting groceries delivered. Best to stay home.
Corona stats.
SA hasn’t been updated for today.
Hebrews 11:1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
