Lock Down Day 5

Tuesday

The days just past by. I’ve been sitting at my desk most of the day, having had a productive last day of March 2020. Worked 7 and a half hours.  Mike on the other hand has been busy with other chores. He started sorting out the garage. Then he went to the back garden and started trimming the lawn…

Looks pretty good…

And we cleaned behind the cottage as well (that was yesterday evening)…

In between, Mike put ingredients in the bread maker and now a wonderful aroma is wafting upstairs…

Meanwhile, hunkered down in Swellendam, Stacey made the most adorable teddy for Elsie. Here she is reading with Teds….

And David watered the cement on the top floor. So glad he is there to do it…he sent this…

A productive day all round. I’m sure the rest of the family are keeping busy.

The president spoke last night again imploring the country to stay home. The world’s Corona virus stats continue to rise. South Africa only rose by 46 new cases recorded yesterday. One more person has died taking our death rate to 3. Today we put the bins out and bin pickers were out in smaller numbers being chastised regularly by neighbourhood residents. One of Mike’s regular visitors rang the door bell but we ignored him. Unfortunately, it’s come to that. We can no longer make coffee and hand out tins of food over the fence. Not for this season. He shouldn’t be out and about, although he may consider this a grocery run.

Proverbs 12:20

Those who promote peace have joy.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip, like never before

Helga xx 🙂
