Wednesday
Today was the day that…
I woke up after a stunning night’s sleep. I haven’t slept like that in a while. Woke up around 7am. It was glorious!
I had a team Skype meeting at 10am. Afterwards, I cooked breakfast…
Mike continued painting in our bedroom and bathroom. Off our bedroom is my office area and that is getting some fresh paint as well. This is the bathroom stand with its undercoat…
I actually am sitting in our guest room. I worked from here today because of all the disorder that is upstairs. I have made up our guest bed and with the paint fumes up there, we will sleep down here. Things are changing for us in the next couple of weeks. Once lock down is over, we are getting a new tenant, but there are three people moving into the cottage. One of them will be using our guest room which fortunately has an outside door, so we can close off the bedroom from the rest of our house and the three of them can use the guest room and the cottage to come and go. They also come with pets, so the garden will be occupied by 2 dogs and a cat. It’s going to be fun.
Today I did some clearing and sorting. I have a bunch of stuff to go to a charity shop and I’m bagging endless stuff for recycling. I’ve got boxes for Stacey and David with, believe it or not, mainly their primary school writing books, certificates and projects. It’s not mine to throw out so it’s labelled and stored. In a few years time, it will make interesting reading for Elsie!
Someone posted this on Facebook. Very funny!
