PJ in the studio this morning with Yankee Doodle featuring on his Donkey – NO!!! NOT donkey!!!! PONY! Sometimes, it’s crazy how 1 or 2 minutes of audio can end up being the dominant feature of the whole show! I said Donkey and then received a whole bunch of smsses and phone calls saying “it’s PONY!” Ha ha! PJ bought in Friends coffee in a fab music cup…
After the show I went across to the Driftwood Cafe in Parklands again for another advertising chat. It was bright and sunny and warm…these are the Driftwood Geese…

After my meeting, Trish arrived and we whiled away a happy hour & a half over a cup of coffee. Thanks Trish! 🙂
By the time I got back on the road to Muizenberg, it was raining. I would have taken a photo only I wasn’t stationary long enough to do it! I went to the mall for coffee mugs for CCFm and found a good R10 deal. While at the Mall, I discovered Food Lovers Market is gradually being unwrapped ahead of the grand opening (next week I think)…

I’ve been thinking of how to get inner peace and strength. I think the only way I have every been able to get it is by spending time in God’s presence. The Holy Spirit is there to help. Jesus said (John 14:16) “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper who will be with you forever.”
God helps us so we can help others….
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.”
