A bit of a late blog! Today, my heart has been focussed on the Thomas Family as Pastor John has delicate surgery. Thousands of people are praying for him. After the show, I did music through to Friday and made good time. I felt quite burdened to actually go to the hospital, so I drove to Bellville and hung out with Avril, Vic, Sam and Sheralyn (and beautiful baby Malakai). I took loads of photos for them…so John can see what they were doing ‘while he was sleeping!’
I got there shortly after 12 and got home some time around 4pm. By then John was out of surgery. I’ve now heard he’s is in a lot of pain. They are waiting to hear from the surgeons to find out how the operation actually went and what the prognosis is. Please continue to pray for John and Avril that John will be fully restored. God has used this couple to touch lives across the world. It’s payback time. PRAY!
