12-48pm
Yesterday I drove through Kalk Bay at about 2-30pm and it was BUZZING! Wow! What a vibe. There are a whole lot more street side cafes that have sprung up and it gave such a cool atmosphere. I was on my way to CCFm to do some recordings and I popped into the studio to say thank you to JP for babysitting Rise and Shine while I was away. It was a great visit!
Today, after the show, I parked my car on St. James Main Rd. and took a brisk walk to Fish Hoek. I just love this area…
Kalk Bay in summer has such a beach atmosphere – you just want to be there…
On I walked until I arrived in Fish Hoek…
By then I’d walked for 25 minutes, so I walked for 5 minutes longer and stopped by David’s flat. He & I then walked back to KB for breakfast. I love the view from the Main Rd.
We chose Kalk Bay Cafe for breakfast…
After a leisurely, well priced breakfast and a cappuccino, we walked back to the car…
Now that was my idea of a great morning treat!
This morning I read the comforting words of Psalm 9:9
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
No better place to turn!
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
Gratitude Pic… when I got home yesterday after recording, Mike had organised dinner and, using a lovely Christmas gift (thanks Jess and Gerrie), set the table with it…this is what I came home to…
