If You Have Stress in Your Life…

It’s amazing how our body reacts when we exercise.  If you have  stress in your life, hit the road for a brisk walk or a run or get on your bike and pedal like crazy. You want to get your heart pumping and your lungs working.  I went to gym feeling like this…

Depressed lady…and came out feeling like this…

HappySo what changed? The answer is ENDORPHINS! I looked it up. One of the things that increases the release of endorphins in the body is exercise. Endorphins give you a great sense of euphoria and well-being. It worked for me. 🙂

So I did my hour’s exercise on this…

Breakfast…although I did have a few nuts before going to gym. I have to give credit to my friend Melanie who trains Riana and I twice a week. Praying for you Mel! I have been amazed at how much fitter I have become on exercising just 2 hours a week.

Tonight we are having chicken kebabs and tomorrow night’s rich brown stew is already in the slow cooker. I’m ahead of the game this week.

Yesterday evening, Mike and I went for a lovely walk on Fish Hoek beach and joined the seagulls in admiring the view…
