Tuesday
Today was the day…
I didn’t make my bed! Ha! I usually make my bed so my working environment is organised. Today, I didn’t make my bed. Mike didn’t mind. We didn’t go swimming. We decided to walk to Valyland and back. When we got home, I got an alert that an online meeting was imminent. I suddenly realised it wasn’t at 9:30am but at 9am, so no time to waste. I hopped online and started working. I had a few breaks, like getting the washing on the line and spending a few minutes with Julian before he left to go back to Johannesburg. But altogether, I worked 7 hours.
Meantime, the Little Lookout is beginning to take shape. This is the mirror we bought the other day.
The view is a little lookout past the roof. I think I may be convinced to trim the tree – not cut it down mind you – just trim.
This afternoon, a navy frigate was doing some exercises in the bay…
It’s spending the night off shore.
This evening, Mike and I walked to the end of Echo to see if there has been any progress on the building works that are soon to begin. We arrived at a ground wetting party. The owners were there with the architect. We chatted to Struan and Poppy who have gone in with their son in buying and building. The son’s half will be built first along with a double garage. Once that’s done, their half will be built. It’s going to be fun to watch. The ground is ready. There is now a container on site and a builder’s toilet.
Jean Tresfon, a local photographer posted this photo on Facebook. Love it. Such a unique view of Fish Hoek beach.
It’s been a productive day.
Isaiah 12:2
The Lord, the Lord Himself, is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
