Contrasting Weather – Morning and Evening

Wednesday

Today was the day…

We saw Fish Hoek beach like we’ve never seen it before. The red tide was washed away. There was a north wind pushing in making the sea flat and calm. And, it was warm. I swam my 2km in my regular swimming costume and even left my swimming cap off. Not only was it warm, it was crystal clear. It was just such a treat to swim. It was like the Mediterranean,  not that I’ve swum in the Med, but I could imagine that would be what it’s like. Fish Hoek at its best.  We arrived home and the day commenced. As it passed by, the wind picked up and the beautiful calm conditions of this morning have given over to a strong north wind. It looks like rain tomorrow.

Right now it’s blowing up a storm, but if wind guru is to be believed, we may get a dip in tomorrow morning after all. We’ll see.

Tomorrow, I need to get the cottage ready for Friday’s guests and I can also make the bed up in the Little Lookout for Sunday’s guest.

It’s been a good day, but now I’m ready for bed.

Psalm 118:14

The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
