His Love Reaches To The Heavens

4-21pm

Today we decided to go along to the church David attends so that at least Mike & David could be in church together on Father’s Day.

Last night I prepared a stew for Mike and it stewed for half the night so when lunchtime came it was delicious and tender. After lunch, Julian and I walked 3km to Nerina Gardens, a retirement home in Fish Hoek that has a really lovely little coffee shop…where they sell cappuccino for less than $US1! R7-50!

Then we walked all the way home again.

So it’s been a really quiet day.

Recently, when Adrian and Stacey announced their plans for travelling later this year, I got out our old Reader’s Digest atlas and started paging through it. One of the pages, I looked at and was left imprinted on my mind was the one depicting Outer Space….

The circled bit is below…

Our Solar System is Somewhere Here! That is amazing. Somewhere in that blob of planets, stars and sky, is Planet Earth.

Then next day during my morning devotions, this map came to mind and I imagined God reaching through the heavens, through His amazing creation, to earth to show us His great love for us.

Psalm 36:5 says “Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies”.

Thank you Jesus for your love!

On the eve of a fabulous week.

God bless you richly!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
