Hermanus Weekend

We spent the weekend at Hermanus, just three of us, Mike, my brother Julian and I. We stayed at the old Windsor Hotel on the beach front, which has majestic views from the sea facing front rooms. It is very reasonably priced and ideal for families on a budget…Hotel room view

I actually loved the 80s and beyond interior of the hotel. It suits it…like something off a film shoot…

Quaint interiorWe did many walks up to the old harbour…

Hermanus harbour oldThe hotel is close to the centre of town and we found this amazing bric a brac shop called Romantiques..

RomantiquesIt sold so much stuff that were certainly bygone and collectable…

Miniature carsAnd there was also the strange and unusual…

unusual bottlesAnd expensive…

Expensive chess setWe had quite a few of these…

CappuccinoOne of the most fun things I did was drive 18 holes of golf in this…

Golf wheels on a cold rainy dayStill got drenched though!

I also had lots of time to read and sleep. It was altogether great. But all good things come to an end. We left early this morning to miss the traffic and we got Julian to the airport perfectly on time.

On the way home, I read all of Psalm 117…

Psalm 117Keep the smile going!

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
