10-18am
What fun! Today the van Niekerk’s got out of their very deep Saturday breakfast rut and went to market…
It is one of the South’s most international looking places. The moment you walk in, it carries an air of Europe….
There is such a lot to see…flowers….
Yummy cakes, all beautifully presented…
…and immediately thought of Stacey, who is in Vietnam at the moment. I ‘whatsapped’ a photo of them to her and she promptly made her own and sent me what they look like cooked…yum yum!!
When she gets home, I’m expecting her to make them for us!
This market is on a Saturday morning. It is in the Builder’s Warehouse shopping complex in Tokai. Turn off the Tokai Main Rd to Builder’s Warehouse. Builder’s Warehouse is then on your left. Turn right, drive through the car park to the very end and then turn left. The market is on the left.
After we left the market, we headed for Wayne’s house. Wow, I hardly recognised him! He always rocks up to the Rise and Shine show in pajamas. Today, he was wearing proper clothes…
We had a demo of his laser cutter, which cut this out of thick plastic… it’s an origami shaped swan…it took 46 seconds to cut!
And finally, seen at Wayne’s house…
Mike has gone off to hit some golf balls. I’m going to do a bit of work and then watch the Wimbledon Ladies Final. Tonight we are having dinner with friends. It’s been a great weekend and it’s only 1/4 done!
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
